Place it beside the crib, not directly next to a newborn's face. The motion and
sound carry beautifully from nearby. From 12 months onwards, it becomes a full bed
companion your toddler can hold and sleep with directly.
On the battery compartment: it features a screw-lock design — a coin or screwdriver
is needed to open it. No loose parts. No accessible batteries. No way for little
hands to get in. We designed it this way deliberately because we know who's using it.
Always follow your paediatrician's safe sleep guidelines.
Can I actually put it in the washing machine?
Yes. Fully. This was non-negotiable when we designed it.
1. Unzip the hidden zip on the back
2. Remove the breathing module (the small electronic unit)
3. Put the plush in the machine on a gentle/delicate cycle
4. Air dry or tumble dry on low
5. Zip the module back in — done

Our honest recommendation first: give it 7 days of consistent use before making
a judgement. Many babies who seem uninterested on night one are reaching for it
by night four. The association takes time to build — and when it clicks, it clicks hard.
But if after 7 nights it genuinely isn't working — contact us and we'll sort it immediately.
